Does anyone think there is potential for nuclear fusion using the University of Missouri self-contained air plasma technology?

Researcher Randy Curry says in the above video says that his group at University of Missouri can achieve stable toroidal ring shaped plasmas with temperatures in the range of several keV.
This fusion ignition temperature is about 4 keV for the D-T fusion reaction and about 35 keV for the D-D fusion reaction.
