We are all characters in a dynamic, interactive reality right now, called “The Quest for Fusion”.  By becoming conscious of the gameful aspects of the situation, we can develop tools to bring about epic wins in energy.  This is not to trivialize the pursuit of fusion, but to bring the skills of the emerging “entertainment-industrial complex” to bear.

When we say “fusion” many people think “food”. Why fight it? Food is an excellent cultural anchor that can be leveraged to illustrate and celebrate fusion and the many approaches to fusion power production.  With the Fusion Food Campaign, we will collaborate with food lovers to develop fusion-themed, physics-explaining recipes, then garnish and serve!

In which we leverage narrative (film, book, music, performance art, and so forth) and celebrity in support of fusion.

How do we convince people that an energy source that seems out of reach is worth supporting?  How do we make fusion research sexy? 

Can Consumer Products save the world?  To answer this question, the Fusion Energy League will collaborate with others to develop, license and market fusion-themed consumer products (FTCP’s).
